LARG President

Chris Patton W3CUM has been a licensed Ham since 1990 when he passed the Novice testing in Ohio. His call sign, W3CUM, is actually a legacy call from his great grandfather. Chris joined the Loudoun Amateur Radio Group in 2009. He currently serves as an Assistant Coordinator to the National Weather Service’s SkyWarn Program and is a former net manager for the Northern Virginia Traffic Net. Chris enjoys the many Public Service events the Club assists with and is always looking for ways Amateur Radio can assist anyone in need.

Chris has served 24 years with the US Air Force & Federal Government in Emergency Management. He has always touted the involvement of Amateur Radio during natural and man-made disasters.

Chris is looking forward to an exciting year as Loudoun Amateur Radio Group's new president.
