LARG Vice President

Chris Brown, KM4EKZ, has been a ham operator since 2014. He currently holds a General Class license with aspirations for Extra Class.

He is a retired 26 year CWO4 Submarine Electronics Technician.  As a qualified Submarine Officer, he served on several nuclear submarines with some shore duty. He was also a qualified Surface Warfare Officer on several ships. He currently works as a contractor supporting DHS.

Chris loves working with new technology, owning several SDRs (Software Defined Radios). He has learned how to co-exist and thrive with the radio hobby while simultaneously living within a Northern Virginia Homeowners Association.  Check out his QRZ page for a current list of equipment and a picture of his station.

He has been a member of LARG since 2014 and has served as Vice President for the past two years. Chris and his family resides in Loudoun County.
